1. Day 3 Aswan Sightseeing – High Dam – Unfinished Obelisk – Philae Temple

   Enjoy breakfast on board before beginning your sightseeing tour of Aswan, a city renowned for its Nubian heritage and beautiful Nile scenery. Visit the Aswan High Dam, one of Egypt’s most important modern engineering projects. Learn about its role in water management, agriculture, and electricity generation while enjoying views of Lake Nasser. Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan’s ancient granite quarries. This enormous monument provides insight into the stone-carving techniques used by ancient Egyptian craftsmen. Next, take a motorboat to Agilkia Island to visit the magnificent Temple of Philae, dedicated primarily to the goddess Isis. Admire its elegant columns, courtyards, and beautifully carved reliefs while learning about the temple’s history and relocation to protect it from rising waters. Return to the cruise ship and spend the remainder of the day enjoying the onboard facilities and Nile scenery.
