Day-by-day programme

1. Day 1Arrival in Cairo

   Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our representative, who will assist you with airport procedures and transfer you to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. After checking in, enjoy some free time to relax or explore Cairo at your own pace. Optional evening activities can be arranged upon request.

2. Day 2Fly to Aswan – High Dam & Philae Temple

   Location:

   Aswan

   After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, meet your private Egyptologist tour guide and begin exploring the highlights of Aswan. * Aswan High Dam: Discover this impressive engineering project, which controls the Nile's annual flooding and created Lake Nasser. * Philae Temple: Take a boat ride to the beautiful island temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, renowned for its ancient Egyptian architecture and detailed carvings. After the sightseeing tour, transfer to your five-star Nile cruise ship and check in. Enjoy lunch on board and spend the remainder of the day relaxing as you prepare for your Nile cruise adventure.

3. Day 3 Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples – Sailing to Luxor

   Location:

   Kom Ombo & Edfu

   Enjoy breakfast on board as your cruise sails along the Nile through the beautiful landscapes of Upper Egypt. * Kom Ombo Temple: Visit this remarkable double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. Explore its fascinating reliefs, ancient inscriptions and distinctive symmetrical design. * Edfu Temple: Continue sailing to Edfu and visit the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Admire its monumental entrance, towering columns, detailed wall carvings and scenes depicting ancient Egyptian mythology. Return to the cruise ship and continue sailing toward Luxor, passing through the Esna Lock along the way. Enjoy afternoon tea and the scenery along the Nile.

4. Day 4Luxor West Bank & Karnak Temple

   Location:

   Luxor

   After breakfast, begin your guided sightseeing tour of Luxor, exploring some of the most remarkable monuments of ancient Thebes. * Valley of the Kings: Explore the royal burial ground of the New Kingdom pharaohs and visit three tombs included in the standard admission, subject to site regulations. Admire the colorful paintings and hieroglyphic inscriptions that reveal ancient Egyptian beliefs about the afterlife. * Temple of Queen Hatshepsut: Visit the impressive mortuary temple built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Discover its elegant terraces, monumental architecture and reliefs depicting the reign of one of ancient Egypt's most famous female rulers. * Colossi of Memnon: Stop to admire the two enormous statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III and take photographs of these iconic monuments. * Karnak Temple Complex: Explore one of the largest religious complexes ever built. Walk through the magnificent Great Hypostyle Hall, surrounded by towering columns, and discover monumental gateways, obelisks, statues and sacred enclosures. Return to your cruise ship after the tour and enjoy your final evening on board.

5. Day 5Hot Air Balloon (Optional) – Fly to Cairo – Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum

   For an unforgettable start to the day, you may choose an optional sunrise hot-air balloon ride over Luxor's West Bank. Enjoy panoramic views of the Nile Valley, ancient temples and surrounding mountains from above. Afterward, transfer to Luxor Airport for your domestic flight to Cairo.
