1. Day 1Giza Pyramids, the Great Sphinx & Grand Egyptian Museum

   Location:

   Cairo

   Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, meet your tour representative, who will assist you with the arrival procedures and transfer you to begin your private sightseeing tour with a professional Egyptologist guide. Start your adventure at the Giza Pyramids Complex, where you will discover the magnificent pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Learn about the history of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs and the remarkable engineering techniques used to construct these timeless monuments. Continue to the panoramic viewpoint, offering spectacular views of all three pyramids and an excellent opportunity to take memorable photographs. Next, visit the Great Sphinx, the legendary statue with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, traditionally associated with King Khafre. Explore the nearby Valley Temple of Khafre, an important monument connected with ancient Egyptian mummification and royal funerary rituals. Enjoy an optional lunch at a local restaurant to experience traditional Egyptian cuisine. In the afternoon, proceed to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where you can explore remarkable collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts, royal treasures, statues, and objects that reveal the history and culture of the pharaohs. 2. Day 2Saqqara, Memphis & Dahshur Pyramids

   Location:

   Giza

   After breakfast at your hotel, meet your Egyptologist guide and depart by private air-conditioned vehicle to explore some of Egypt’s oldest archaeological sites. Begin at Saqqara, home to the famous Step Pyramid of King Djoser, widely recognized as the earliest major monumental stone pyramid in Egypt. Explore the surrounding funerary complex and learn about the architectural developments that led to the construction of the later pyramids. Continue to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt during its early dynastic history and the Old Kingdom. Discover the archaeological remains of this once-important political and religious center, including the colossal statue of Ramses II and other surviving monuments. Proceed to Dahshur, an important royal necropolis featuring two remarkable pyramids built during the reign of Pharaoh Sneferu. Visit the Bent Pyramid, famous for its distinctive change in angle, which reflects the evolution of pyramid construction techniques. Then explore the Red Pyramid, one of the earliest successful smooth-sided pyramids in Egypt. After completing the tour, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure, or to your hotel if you are extending your stay.
