1. Day 4Luxor West Bank – Valley of the Kings – Hatshepsut Temple

   Location:

   Luxor

   After breakfast on board, explore the West Bank of Luxor, home to some of ancient Egypt's most remarkable royal monuments. * Valley of the Kings: Discover the royal burial ground of New Kingdom pharaohs and explore the beautifully decorated tombs, subject to the site's admission rules. * Colossi of Memnon: Stop for photographs beside the two enormous statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. * Temple of Queen Hatshepsut: Visit the impressive terraced mortuary temple built against the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari and learn about the life and reign of one of Egypt's most influential female pharaohs. Return to the cruise ship for lunch as the vessel begins sailing toward Edfu. Spend the evening relaxing on board and enjoy dinner while the ship remains in the Edfu area.
