Cancellation policy
What happens if you cancel or change a booking, and how refunds work.
Last updated November 2, 2026
We know plans change. This policy explains what happens if you cancel a booking. Your written proposal or booking confirmation may add conditions for special services, and those apply too.
How to cancel
Send us a message on WhatsApp (+20 106 400 9275) or email [email protected]. Your cancellation counts from the time we receive it, and we confirm it in writing. Times below are counted before the start of your tour or your arrival in Egypt, in Egypt time.
Day tours, desert trips, shore excursions, transfers and car rental
- 24 hours or more before the start: free cancellation, full refund
- Less than 24 hours before, or no-show: 100% of the price
Packages and Nile cruises
- More than 30 days before arrival: free of charge, excluding any non-refundable deposits, booking fees or supplier charges
- 15 to 30 days before arrival: 50% of the total tour price
- Less than 15 days before arrival, or no-show: 100% of the total tour price
Supplier cancellation charges
Any cancellation fees imposed by airlines, hotels, Nile cruises or other suppliers are charged according to their own cancellation policies. We tell you in your proposal if your trip includes services like these.
Force majeure
In circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, political events, severe weather or other exceptional circumstances, any refund depends on the amounts we can recover from our suppliers.
Changing your dates
If you would rather move your trip than cancel it, ask us first. We will try to move your booking to new dates when our suppliers allow it, and you pay any price difference.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation. It can repay cancellation charges if you have to cancel for reasons such as illness.
